The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, has said that the Gibraltar and UK governments “are totally joined up” ahead of the triggering of Article 50.
It is explicitly clear the Gibraltar will be part of the UK’s negotiation and that EU countries understand it wants to remain British, and there will be no negotiation over sovereignty.
The Chief Minister is confident that as much fluidity at the frontier will be kept as is possible. He is also confident that Gibraltar will be included in further trader deals with other countries around the world going forward.
